So what's the difference between this and a normal auction site?

Firstly, bidfox.co.za is a live auction site, so as a user clicks to bid on an item, you will see the updated time and price on your screen. With bidfox, the only things for sale on the site are sold by the site itself, nothing is sold by users. To bid on an item, you must purchase bids. When you bid on an item, the price will go up slightly, as well as the time remaining. The last person to have bid on the item when the time runs out gets the time for the price displayed (usually a fraction of what you would pay anywhere else). The best part is even if you change your mind and decide not to take the item, you don't have to!
